Please read these Terms carefully. By using Alrawidream, you agree to be bound by the following policies.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing, downloading, registering for, or using Alrawidream, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

  • These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Alrawidream.
  • We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
  • You must use the service in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws.

2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION & LICENSE

Alrawidream is a free, peer-to-peer social platform for sharing, journaling, and discussing personal dreams and creative writing.

  • License: We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, limited license to use the App strictly for personal, non-commercial entertainment and creative writing purposes.
  • Free Service & 'AS IS' Basis: The service is provided free of charge on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis, and you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your use.
  • Feature Changes: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice.

3. ACCOUNT ELIGIBILITY & REGISTRATION

Accounts are provided for individual use only. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

  • Minimum Age: You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use Alrawidream.
  • Users Under 13: Children under 13 are strictly prohibited from creating an account or providing personal information without verified parental consent.
  • Minor Users (13–17): If you are between 13 and the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.
  • Accurate Information: You warrant that all registration information, including age, is accurate and truthful.
  • Confidentiality: You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Real email addresses are never displayed publicly; public feeds show only your custom Nickname or 'Anonymous'.
  • Account Deletion: You may permanently delete your account and authentication data at any time via the User Profile screen or by contacting alrawidream@icloud.com.

4. USER CONDUCT & PROHIBITED CONTENT

You agree to use Alrawidream responsibly and lawfully. The following content and behaviors are strictly prohibited:

  • Hate Speech & Harassment: Content that attacks, threatens, demeans, or intimidates individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, or other protected characteristics.
  • Violence & Radicalization: Content that incites violence, public disorder, illegal activities, terrorism, extremism, or radicalization.
  • Self-Harm: Content that promotes, glorifies, or provides instructions for self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or severe psychological trauma.
  • Explicit or Graphic Material: Sexually explicit content, pornography, graphic gore, obscenity, or gratuitous violence.
  • Political & Government Criticism: Real-world political discussions, government criticism, or mocking of political figures are not permitted in dream posts or comments.
  • Scams & Harmful Superstition: Commercial fortune-telling, psychic readings, lottery scams, gambling schemes, lucky-number promotions, fear-mongering curses, or harmful financial/spiritual schemes.
  • Misinformation & Impersonation: Deliberately false information, impersonation of other users, public figures, or organizations, or coordinated manipulation.
  • Spam & Abuse: Repetitive posting, excessive self-promotion, automated bot activity, phishing, malware, or any conduct that disrupts the platform.
  • Unauthorized Data Collection: Scraping, harvesting, or collecting user data without consent, including using automated tools to extract content.
  • Threats & Doxxing: Posting personal information about others (doxxing), making threats, stalking, or engaging in any form of abuse.
  • Respect & Decency: Users must interact with courtesy and respect. Repeated hostile, trolling, or abusive behavior toward other users may result in suspension or ban.

5. AI & MANUAL MODERATION RIGHTS

To maintain community safety, Alrawidream uses a combination of automated AI systems and human review. By using the service, you consent to this moderation.

  • AI as a Safety Filter: We use a two-layer OpenAI system solely to scan, filter, and flag content. Layer 1 (OpenAI Moderation API) covers general safety such as hate speech, harassment, explicit content, dangerous topics, or self-harm. Layer 2 (gpt-4o-mini) covers Alrawidream custom rules: real-world politics or government criticism, financial/lottery scams, and commercial fortune-telling.
  • No AI Advice or Training: AI is used exclusively for automated content moderation and optional language translation of user posts. Alrawidream does NOT provide AI dream analysis, AI interpretations, AI consultations, or AI-generated responses. AI is not used to train, fine-tune, or improve third-party models.
  • Pre-Publication Review: All public posts are submitted to an asynchronous moderation queue and are initially set to 'PENDING'. They will not appear in public feeds until they are approved by the moderation system or a human reviewer.
  • Immediate Removal: We reserve the right to remove, hide, edit, or restrict access to any content or account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if it violates these Terms or poses a risk to community safety.
  • User Reporting: Users may report objectionable content via the in-app 'Flag' icon. Reported content will be reviewed and removed within 24 hours if found to violate these Terms.
  • Strike & Ban System: Violating content may result in an automated strike. Accumulating three (3) strikes may result in a permanent account and IP ban. Bans are final unless successfully appealed.
  • Manual Review Rights: Alrawidream retains the right to manually review any content, account, or report, and to override automated decisions when necessary.
  • No Duty to Pre-Screen: While we employ moderation tools, we have no legal obligation to actively monitor, pre-screen, or edit all content. Our sole remedy for objectionable content is the reporting mechanism described above.
  • Appeals: If you believe your content or account was moderated in error, you may submit an appeal to alrawidream@icloud.com within 14 days for human review.

6. MOON TICKET PUBLISHING LIMITS & TICKETS POLICY

Public posting on Alrawidream is limited to maintain quality and community balance. Moon Tickets and all other in-app credits are strictly internal virtual items for use within the app only.

  • Monthly Limit: Each account may publish a limited number of public posts per calendar month based on the Moon Ticket allowance tied to your progression level.
  • Private Journal: Users may record unlimited private journal entries; private entries are never shown publicly and are protected by passcode and Row Level Security.
  • No Purchase of Tickets: Moon Tickets are earned by progression and activity, not purchased. Alrawidream does NOT sell tickets, and tickets cannot be bought, topped up, or exchanged for real money.
  • In-App Use Only: All Moon Tickets, Wild Tickets, and other in-app credits are for in-app use only. They have no cash value, are not redeemable, and cannot be exchanged for real money, goods, or services outside the app.
  • No P2P Trading or External Sales: You are expressly forbidden from buying, selling, trading, gifting, or transferring tickets to other users or third parties outside the platform for real money, goods, services, or any other consideration.
  • Zero Liability for External Transactions: Alrawidream bears 100% zero liability for any user-to-user transactions, scams, chargebacks, financial disputes, or losses that occur outside the platform. Any account involved in unauthorized external ticket trading will be permanently banned.
  • No Monthly Rollover: Monthly ticket allowances do not roll over to the next month unless explicitly stated by a specific feature or promotion.

7. MAGIC WAND POLICY

The Magic Wand feature lets users boost posts in the Magic Wand Hub. The following rules govern its use:

  • Final Usage: Wand Energy usage is final. Once a wand is used on a post, the energy spent cannot be refunded, reversed, or transferred to another post.
  • Top 1 Removal: Alrawidream admin reserves the right to remove a Top 1 post from the Magic Wand Hub if it violates community standards, these Terms, or applicable law.
  • Ranking Order: Posts waved by the wand are ranked higher in the Magic Wand Hub. More recent wand interactions are placed above older ones.
  • No Manipulation: Users may not use automated scripts, multiple accounts, or coordinated actions to artificially inflate wand interactions. Violations may result in strikes, suspension, or ban.

8. USER CONTENT LICENSE & RIGHTS

By submitting content to Alrawidream, you retain ownership while granting us the rights needed to operate the platform.

  • Ownership: You retain copyright ownership of your original dream text and voice recordings.
  • Platform License: You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual license to host, display, translate, distribute, and moderate your content for operating the service.
  • Original Work: You warrant that all submissions are your original creations or that you have all necessary rights to post them.
  • Unauthorized Recording Disclaimer: Alrawidream is not liable if third parties or other users screenshot, audio-record, screen-record, or reproduce your content outside the App without your consent.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, DMCA & ANTI-SCRAPING

Respect for intellectual property is required at all times.

  • Trademark Protection: Unauthorized use, defamation, or exploitation of protected third-party trademarks, brand names, or logos within dream stories or profiles will result in immediate content deactivation.
  • DMCA Takedowns: Copyright holders can submit formal takedown notices to alrawidream@icloud.com. Valid requests will be processed within 72 hours.
  • Anti-Scraping: Users are strictly prohibited from scraping, screen-recording, audio-recording, or converting published dream content into text-to-speech, audiobooks, podcasts, or videos for external commercial or non-commercial use.

10. PRIVACY & DATA SECURITY

Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Alrawidream, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing described therein.

  • Data Storage: User data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure protected by strict Row Level Security (RLS).
  • Private Data: Private journal entries, voice recordings, and personal account information are protected and never displayed publicly.
  • Security Limitations: While we implement standard encryption and security measures, we cannot guarantee 100% security against all cyberattacks or data breaches.

11. LEADERBOARD PRIVACY

Alrawidream gives you control over how your identity appears on the public leaderboard.

  • Incognito Mode: When Leaderboard Privacy is turned ON in your Profile settings, your User ID and identity are hidden from the public leaderboard.
  • Anonymous Display: To other users, your leaderboard row will appear as 'Incognito Dreamer 🥷' with an anonymous default avatar.
  • Self-Recognition: You will always see your own row marked with (You) so you can recognize your rank while remaining anonymous to everyone else.
  • No Re-identification: We do not reveal the real user behind an Incognito Dreamer row to the public or to other users.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

Alrawidream is for entertainment, creative journaling, and community discussion only. It is not a medical, psychological, or professional service.

  • Entertainment & Journaling Only: Content on Alrawidream is for recreational, creative, and personal journaling purposes only. It does NOT constitute professional psychological, psychiatric, medical, therapeutic, or life advice.
  • No Professional Relationship: Using Alrawidream does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, attorney-client, or any other professional relationship between you and Alrawidream or any other user.
  • Peer-to-Peer Content: All insights, opinions, and replies come from other human users and represent their individual views, not expert guidance.
  • No Reliance: You should not rely on any content within Alrawidream for diagnosis, treatment, legal decisions, or major life decisions. Always seek qualified professional advice for such matters.
  • No Liability for Emotional Distress: We are not responsible or liable for any emotional distress, psychological reactions, or real-life decisions made based on content read, shared, or generated within the App.
  • Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alrawidream and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total aggregate liability is strictly limited to the amount you directly paid to Alrawidream in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $0 USD if you used the app for free.
  • Exclusion of Indirect Expenses: We accept no financial liability for third-party or indirect expenses, including internet/broadband fees, cellular charges, hardware costs, banking fees, opportunity costs, or lost time/wages.
  • AS IS Basis: The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

13. ACCOUNT TERMINATION POLICIES

Alrawidream reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts and access to the service at any time, with or without notice.

  • Termination by User: You may delete your account at any time from the in-app Profile screen or by contacting alrawidream@icloud.com. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible.
  • Termination by Alrawidream: We may suspend or terminate any account for violations of these Terms, repeated moderation strikes, abusive behavior, fraudulent registration, underage use without consent, or any activity that harms the platform or other users.
  • Immediate Effect: Termination may take effect immediately upon discovery of a violation, without prior warning.
  • Data Deletion on Termination: Upon termination, your authentication credentials, profile identity, and ALL associated user-generated content — published dreams, private journal entries, voice recordings, and comments — will be permanently purged from our Supabase database. No archived or anonymized copies are retained.
  • No Data Backup: We do not guarantee permanent storage of your content. Users are solely responsible for keeping local backups of their dreams, journals, and comments.
  • No Refunds: Because the service is free, no refunds or compensation are owed upon termination.
  • Appeal Process: If you believe your account was terminated in error, you may submit an appeal to alrawidream@icloud.com within 14 days for human review.
  • Post-Termination Restrictions: Terminated users may not create new accounts without explicit written permission from Alrawidream.

14. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alrawidream from claims arising from your use of the service.

  • You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Alrawidream and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your content, your conduct, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
  • Age Misrepresentation: Any parent, legal guardian, or user who fraudulently misrepresents a user's age agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Alrawidream from any legal claims, fines, or damages resulting from such misrepresentation.

15. MANDATORY ARBITRATION & CLASS ACTION WAIVER

Any dispute arising out of or relating to Alrawidream will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings.

  • Individual Arbitration: You agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy will be settled solely by binding, individual arbitration.
  • Class Action Waiver: YOU AND ALRAWIDREAM AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

16. GOVERNING LAW & SEVERABILITY

These Terms are governed by applicable law and designed to remain enforceable even if parts are invalidated.

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which Alrawidream operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
  • If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
